Starfield Library — Seoul, South Korea
There’s something special about being surrounded by books in the middle of one of Seoul’s busiest districts. Starfield Library in COEX Mall feels less like a traditional library and more like a celebration of reading, ideas, and curiosity. The enormous bookshelves stretching toward the ceiling immediately catch your attention, but what I like most is the idea behind the space: a place to slow down, browse, read, and discover something new—even while surrounded by the energy of the city. Places like this remind me that libraries don’t have to feel quiet, old, or hidden away. They can be beautiful public spaces that make people want to pick up a book. If you could design your ideal reading or note-taking space, what would it look like? 📖✍️
